Original produced at the Open Door Theatre for their 2013 Jazz Series, award winning baritone Saalik & Chicago chanteuse Linda Solotaire are joined by Leandro Lopez Vardy on piano. It's an evening of lovely Holiday classics like Winter Wonderland, Silver Bells, I'll Be Home for Christmas, and fun numbers like Santa Baby and Baby It's Cold Outside. The duo slips in special jazz treats, along with a few originals from fellow Chicago composer/songwriters that are sure to become new favorites.
ABOUT THE SERIES
TRUE MUSE MUSIC is a new concert series here in Homewood's lovely and unique Ravisloe Country Club. We are presenting events about once a month now thru April, at which time the series will pick up with concerts every other week through August. All performances are open to the puclic and appropriate for all ages.
Ravisloe has beautiful grounds for strolling, a lovely bar & grill available for pre-show dining, and a full bar for cocktailing during the performance.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
Hop on the Metra Electric (ME) at Millennium Station at Randolf Street in Chicago, 20 minutes brings you practically to the door. Disembark at the Homewood station. Walk 1 block South to the Ravisloe grounds entrance. Just a few more steps West and your there. Or click here for driving directions. Parking is always free.
