Sueños Latin-Jazz Quintet is comprised of some of Chicago's finest jazz and Latin musicians, and is led by bassist/composer Steven Hashimoto. They have been active on Chicago's vital jazz scene for 15+ years. Their CD Azul Oscuro features nine original compositions by Hashimoto and covers of the Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby", Ray Barretto's "Acid", and the traditional song "Enamorado." The stylistic range encompasses Afro-Cuban, Brasilian, Flamenco, Fusion, and more. The musicians boast playing credits including Paquito D'Rivera, Manfredo Fest, Patricia Barber, Cheveré de Chicago, Howard Levy, Henry Johnson, Flippomusic GlobalJazz, Miguel DeLéon, Paulinho Garcia, and literally hundreds of other acts, locally and nationally. A strong cd that has gotten heavy local airplay - a fabulous quintet worthy of your attention.

ABOUT THE SERIES
TRUE MUSE MUSIC is a new concert series here in Homewood's lovely and unique Ravisloe Country Club. We are presenting events about once a month now thru April, at which time the series will pick up with concerts every other week through August. All performances are open to the puclic and appropriate for all ages.
Ravisloe has beautiful grounds for strolling, a lovely bar & grill available for pre-show dining, and a full bar for cocktailing during the performance.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
Hop on the Metra Electric (ME) at Millennium Station at Randolf Street in Chicago, 20 minutes brings you practically to the door. Disembark at the Homewood station.
